HMF Address should work for everyone, young and old. Here you can see how far we have got and how to give us feedback.

Scope

This statement applies to this website and to the Windows program HMF Address 3.0. It is based on the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and on the European standard EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.2, level AA.

Compliance status

Based on our own assessment, the website and program are largely accessible. The limitations listed below are known.

What we have done: website

Text size switchable in three steps (top right and in the footer), in addition to the browser’s zoom function
Light and dark, each with contrast according to WCAG 2.2 AA
Large click areas, clearly visible focus and full keyboard operation
Clear headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link for screen readers
Animations can be switched off with “Reduce motion” (footer) or the system setting
Forms with visible labels and clear error messages

What we have done: program

Full keyboard operation, command search with Ctrl+K and lots of keyboard shortcuts
Light and dark, five colour themes, “Windows” colour theme with the system colours
Undo when deleting instead of confusing prompts
Uses the Windows setting for animations

Known limitations

Screenshots show the program as an image. The essential content is in the alternative text and in the text next to it.
PayPal provides the payment buttons. We have only limited influence on their accessibility. If you have problems, we’ll gladly help you with your purchase.
The images on the website and in the help show the program in German. In the program itself, you can choose the language.
