Licence terms
What you may do with your licence for HMF Address, in plain language.
1. Licensor
HMF-IT UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Parkstr. 31, 49080 Osnabrück, Germany. HMF Address remains our intellectual property. You acquire a right of use, not ownership of the software.
2. Scope of use per edition

The full version is activated online once with the licence key; after that, it runs without the internet. To use the licence on another PC, deactivate a PC in the program under Settings › Licence.
The licence has no time limit (no subscription). All updates for version 3 are included. A portable copy, for example on a USB stick, counts as one PC. Need more PCs? Write to us.
3. What is not allowed
- pass on, publish or sell the licence key
- rent out, lend or offer the software as your own
- circumvent protection mechanisms
- decompile or modify the software, unless expressly permitted by law (§ 69d, § 69e UrhG, German Copyright Act)
4. Your data
Your contacts belong to you. HMF Address stores them in an open file on your PC and can export them at any time as CSV, vCard or a web page – even after the licence ends.
5. Warranty and liability
Our Terms apply.
6. End of the licence
In the event of a serious breach of these terms, the licence may be terminated after a prior warning. If the purchase is withdrawn, the licence key becomes invalid.
